New Delhi, 03/02/2025: Hazoor Multi Projects Limited (HMPL) is stepping into the renewable energy industry by planning a large 500-megawatt solar project in Andhra Pradesh. The company will invest Rs 2,500 crore to set up a solar park on 2,000 acres of land in Prakasam district. This project aims to help increase the state’s clean energy supply.
The Andhra Pradesh government has promised to support the project, with the New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation (NREDCAP) helping to make it a success. The state has also asked HMPL to submit a detailed project plan to move forward.
HMPL, known for its work in engineering and construction, has been expanding its involvement in renewable energy. The company is also working on building 1.2 GW of clean energy projects across 4,200 acres in Maharashtra. This shows HMPL’s growing focus on creating sustainable energy solutions and its commitment to supporting a cleaner environment.
