National Aluminum Company Limited (NALCO), a company under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, organised the All India Consumer Conference 2025 in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday. The event focused on the theme “Sustainable Aluminium: Innovations for a Greener Future.” The aim was to highlight the company’s efforts toward eco-friendly aluminium production and responsible business practices.
NALCO CMD Brijendra Pratap Singh led the event, along with Director (Commercial) Sadashiv Samantray and Director (Production) Pankaj Kumar Sharma. Sanjay Kumar Mishra, Principal Chief Commercial Manager of East Coast Railway (IRTS), attended as the guest of honour. In his speech, Singh spoke about the importance of sustainability in aluminium production. He said NALCO is committed to reducing its carbon footprint and adopting cleaner technologies to support India’s vision for a greener future.
The conference provided a platform for discussions on energy-efficient practices, recycling, and future developments in the aluminium industry. An expert session on “The Future of Aluminium in a Circular Economy” was conducted in collaboration with CRU International. The event also recognised business partners for their long-term support and contributions. Through this conference, NALCO aimed to strengthen relationships with customers and work together toward a more sustainable aluminium industry.
