Bhubaneswar, July 25, 2025 – Khirod Kumar, a determined teenager from Kalahandi, has made headlines by winning two golds and a bronze at the CBSE East Zonal Archery Championship in Kolkata. Competing in the U-19 Indian round, his stellar performance highlights the success of Vedanta Aluminium’s Archery Training Initiative in Lanjigarh.
Khirod’s journey is a shining example of how structured support and dedicated training can transform potential into performance. With five national gold medals already to his name from the National School Archery Championship, he continues to climb the ranks of India’s rising sports stars.
