Bhubaneswar, February 18: The second day of Budget session in the Odisha legislative Assembly witnessed protests over multiple issues including farmer issues. This resulted in the house being adjourned till 4 PM today.
The House had been in turmoil since the beginning of Question Hour. Both opposition parties protested in the middle of the House over the problems related to market and sale of paddy.
Deogarh MLA Ranjan Biswal carried paddy on his head and entered the house. He protested by placing money on the report table in the middle of the House.
Earlier, the Speaker had adjourned the House from 10.33 AM to 11.30 AM.
