Bhubaneswar, Feb 26: Padma Shri Utsav Charan Das, a renowned a Ghoda Nacha Artist, passed away today (February 26, 2026) in Cuttack at the age of 80.
He took his last breath at a private hospital located in Chaudwar of Cuttack district. Utsav Charan Das played a massive role in popularising Ghoda Nacha.
He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2020 for introducing the traditional ‘Ghoda Nach’ of Odisha to the world.
