Mumbai, 30/04/2025: Adani Green Energy had a strong year, with big increases in both profit and clean energy projects. The company made a profit of ₹2,001 crore in the year ending March 31, which is 59% more than the previous year. In just the last quarter (January–March), profit rose 23.5% to ₹383 crore.
The company’s total income for the year went up 18% to ₹12,422 crore. Income from selling power grew even more up 23% to ₹9,495 crore for the full year, and up 37% to ₹2,666 crore in the last quarter. Adani Green also earned more from its operations, with yearly operating profit (EBITDA) reaching ₹8,818 crore, which is 22% higher than the year before.
Adani Green added 3.3 gigawatts (GW) of new clean energy capacity in the year. This included solar and wind projects in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Andhra Pradesh. These additions made up 16% of all new large-scale solar energy and 14% of wind energy added in India during the year.
Looking forward, CEO Ashish Khanna said the company plans to spend $3.64 billion this year to build 5 GW of clean energy, which is about 50% more than last year. He also said the company has enough money lined up to fund its projects through 2026, and it aims to reach 50 GW of clean energy by 2030.
