Bhubaneswar, February 18: Bhubaneswar has witnessed a series of accidents last night and this has taken place in Chandrasekharpur area of the city. A speeding car hit an auto-rickshaw from the rear, and this started a series of accident.
According to sources, this accident took place near the Chandrasekharpur petrol pump last night. A car hit an autorickshaw from the rear and this caused the auto-rickshaw to dash against the divider and overturn on the other side of the road. The autorickshaw hit another car which was on the other side of the road.
Three persons were injured in the accident. After getting informed, the Police rushed to the spot, rescued the victims and admitted them in the hospital. The cops also seized the vehicles and initiated an investigation. Drunk driving is assumed to be the cause behind the accident.
