New Delhi, 11/02/2025: Renewable energy company Juniper Green Energy is going to invest in advanced wind, solar and battery storage technology to grow its clean energy projects in India. The company has ordered 200 wind turbines from Envision Energy India and a 320.38 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to improve energy reliability.
Juniper Green Energy has also partnered with First Solar to buy 1,000MWp of solar panels. These will be used in different states across India to support the shift to clean energy.
To fund these projects, the company has secured $1 billion in loans from major financial institutions, including Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC), DBS Bank, HSBC Bank, and the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA). This money will help Juniper Green Energy develop wind-solar hybrid projects and other reliable renewable energy solutions.
CEO Naresh Mansukhani said, “This funding shows the strength of our business and our long-term vision for clean energy.”
Juniper Green Energy currently operates 1.1 GWp of renewable energy and plans to expand further. As a leader in solar, wind, and hybrid energy, the company is helping India move toward a cleaner, more sustainable future.
