Sambalpur, 24/12/2024: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) is set to invest Rs. 15.63 crore to upgrade the infrastructure of 51 schools across Jharsuguda districts as part of it Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The goal of this project is to improve the quality of education and create a better learning environment for children.
Funds will be allocated for constructing new classrooms, upgrading sanitation facilities, and supplying schools with essential resources for education. This upgrade will impact over 5,000 students and 200 teachers in the region’s three municipalities.
An MoU was signed between MCL and the district administration to implement the project, which will be completed in one year. The initiative reflects MCL’s dedication to supporting local communities through education.
With this investment, MCL is paving the way for a brighter future for students, providing them with the tools they need to succeed.
