Cuttack, 08/02/2025: Odisha is emerging as a powerhouse for budding cricketing talent, and the MGMT20 Championship 2025 is set to be a defining moment in that journey. More than just a tournament, this event—taking place from February 8 to 11 at MGM School of Sports, Kapursingh, Cuttack—aims to reshape grassroots cricket development in India.
A collaboration between MGM School of Sports and Coaching Beyond, an elite cricket institute led by Shri Ravi Shastri, Shri Bharat Arun, and Shri R Sridhar, MGMT20 is designed to be a launchpad for young players. With teams from Coaching Beyond Cricket Excellence Centres in Chennai, Hyderabad, and Vadodara competing alongside MGM School’s own squad, the tournament is set to be a breeding ground for future cricketing stars.
Shri Ravi Shastri and Shri Bharat Arun inaugurated the event, praising MGM School of Sports. Cricket legends Shri Venkatapathy Raju and Shri Debashish Mohanty highlighted its role in nurturing young talent.
