BHUBANESWAR, JAN 31—Deputy Chief Minister and Minister Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo on Friday urged officials to expedite the solar projects being executed by Waaree Energies Limited in Dhenkanal district. During a review meeting, Singhdeo emphasized the need for inter-departmental coordination to accelerate the progress of these projects.
The review session focused on several critical issues, including power availability for construction and operational needs, surface water supply, pipeline connections, land acquisition, and other project-related challenges. Singhdeo engaged in detailed discussions with officials to address these concerns and ensure smooth project execution.
Key attendees at the meeting included Principal Secretary Energy Vishal Dev, OPTCL CMD Bhaskar Jyoti Sharma, MD IDCO Bhupendra Singh Poonia, and EIC Water Resources Department Chandrasekhar Padhi. These officials provided updates on the current status of the projects.
Representatives from Waaree Energies Limited, including President Jayaram Mishra, CPO Kirti Kumar Shah, AGM Prakash Mohanty, and Senior Manager Parameshwar Panda, were also present to discuss the progress and challenges faced by the company.
