Rourkela, 04/01/2025: In an exhilarating clash between at the Birsa Munda Stadium, Tamil Nadu Dragons claimed their first win of the HIL 2024-25 season, overcoming the Kalinga Lancers in a dramatic penalty shootout after a thrilling 2-2 draw in regular time.
The match, which was a rollercoaster of emotions, saw both teams exchanging leads twice before the game stretched into penalties. The Lancers, leading 2-1 at the end of the third quarter, were pegged back in the final moments by a goal from Tamil Nadu’s Jip Janssen, which sent the game into a shootout.
