Jeypore, 28/12/2024: Tata Power Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) recently organized a large-scale health camp in Majhiguda village, Baipariguda block, Koraput district, aiming to promote public health partnerships and support community well-being. The camp focused on providing healthcare services to remote and under served populations.
The event offered eye and dental check-ups, paediatric consultations, gynaecological care, and general health services. A team of medical professionals examined attendees, providing treatment, advice, and medications. Approximately 800 individuals, including elderly people, children, and women, benefited from the services.
This initiative is part of TPSODL’s ongoing efforts to improve healthcare access in rural areas. The company also operates mobile hospitals in Koraput and Malkangiri districts, delivering free medical consultations, treatment, and medications to tribal and local communities.
Amit Kumar Garg, CEO of TPSODL, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to social welfare, stressing its role in ensuring equal healthcare access for all, especially in remote areas.
