Jharsuguda, 24/12/2024: Vedanta Aluminium, a leader in India’s aluminium industry, organised an in-depth fire safety training program in Jharsuguda as part of its ongoing fire awareness campaign. The initiative aimed to enhance safety standards by training students, teachers, and staff in essential fire safety practices and practical firefighting techniques. Over 300 enthusiastic individuals participated in the session, which covered emergency response procedures, safety guidelines, and hands-on firefighting demonstrations.
Sunil Gupta, CEO of Vedanta Aluminium, emphasised the company’s commitment to creating a secure environment through safety education. He noted that a proactive approach to safety is ingrained in Vedanta’s culture and benefits both the local community and the people directly involved in the initiative.
Principal of Panchayat High School, Kishore Kumar Patel, thanked Vedanta for the program, noting its positive impact on the students and staff’s ability to respond to fire emergencies with greater confidence and readiness.
