Bhubaneswar, 28/01/2025: Vedanta is all set to take part in the Utkarsh Odisha Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 at Janta Maidan, Bhubaneswar on the 28th, 29th and 30th January 2025. The company has invested 1 lakh crore in global projects, with Odisha being the site of its biggest investment in the world, showing how much Vedanta believes in the state’s future.
At the event, Vedanta will showcase its manufacturing achievements, sustainability efforts, and community programs at Hall A-16. Visitors will be able to see live demonstrations of Odisha’s traditional crafts and learn about the company’s work to support the state’s growth and development.
Anil Agarwal, founder and chairman of Vedanta Group, will be present at the event, highlighting the company’s strong connection with Odisha and its long-term goals in the region. In addition to building industries, Vedanta has supported local communities, helping over 10,000 people through skill training and financial programs. The company has also set up 531 Nanda Ghars, which are centers for the development of women and children.
As Vedanta continues to grow in Odisha, it remains focused on sustainability. The company aims to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 or sooner, using renewable energy and eco-friendly practices to make Odisha a global leader in “green” manufacturing.
