Bhubaneswar, Feb 21: VFS Global Visa Application Centre will be opening its centre in Bhubaneswar on April 1, 2026. The company has confirmed that the Visa Application Centre in Bhubaneswar will initially process visa applications for the United Kingdom and select Schengen countries.
The Centre will gradually add additional countries based on approval as well as demand. The establishment of VFS Global’s Visa Application Centre in Bhubaneswar will significantly reduce the need for Odisha residents to travel to other cities for visa formalities. This will be affective in saving time, cost, and effort, particularly for students and business travelers.
VFS Global has thanked Minister of Education of India, Dharmendra Pradhan for his support and guidance in enabling this important initiative for the people of Odisha. VFS Global has also invited the Union Education Minister as Chief Guest for the official inauguration ceremony of the Visa Application Centre in Bhubaneswar on April 1, 2026.
VFS Global’s Visa Application Centre in Bhubaneswar will also generate employment opportunities for local youth in the city who we will train and deploy.
