New Delhi, 24/06/2025: Waaree Renewable Technologies has signed a new agreement with Viet Khanh Joint Stock Company to develop a 100MW photovoltaic solar power project in Vietnam. This marks an important step forward in clean energy cooperation between India and Vietnam.
This is the second time Waaree is partnering with Viet Khanh, after successfully completing a 49.5MW solar project in Vietnam’s Cam Ranh province in 2019. The new project will be carried out as a full turnkey EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) assignment, including design, engineering, construction, testing, and connection to the national power grid.
“This collaboration reflects Waaree Group’s strong reputation in delivering high-performance, bankable solar infrastructure globally,” said Viren Doshi, Executive Director of Waaree Renewable Technologies.
Once completed, the solar plant is expected to reduce around 130,000 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions every year – equal to the effect of planting more than 2 million trees annually. This agreement highlights the strong commitment both companies share toward building a greener and more sustainable future.
